These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Vortext (“Vortext”, “we”, “us”), available at vortext.com.au. By using the service or generating content, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Vortext is an AI-assisted writing tool. You provide a prompt and our system generates written content. You may preview a portion for free and pay to unlock and download the full result.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use Vortext.
3. Payments & pricing
Prices are shown before you pay and vary with the length and complexity of your request. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store your full card details. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.
4. Refunds
Because each generation produces unique digital content delivered immediately on payment, purchases are generally non-refundable. If a download fails for a technical reason on our side, contact us and we will re-deliver the content or refund that purchase.
5. Ownership of generated content
Subject to your payment, you own the output you generate and may use it for personal or commercial purposes. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI output before use. AI models can produce content that is inaccurate, derivative, or similar to content generated for others; we do not warrant the originality, accuracy, or fitness of any output.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Vortext to create content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, or that impersonates others or facilitates fraud, spam, or malware. We may refuse or remove requests and suspend accounts that violate this section.
7. Your responsibility for output
You are solely responsible for how you use generated content, including ensuring it complies with applicable laws and third-party rights. Vortext is a tool; you are the author and publisher of anything you choose to use.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will meet your expectations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vortext will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific generation giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
